Innocence at its best.... :)

I was not exactly in a bad mood today... but was definitely, not my usual self. Having nothing in particular to post, I decided to ruffle thru a few regular blogs, i follow... In the process, I stumbled upon, this very amazing post, where the author explained how a few six- year old children described their favorite animal. I was bowled over by their exquisite expressions :) :) :)

Their genuinely amusing stories had a magical effect on me.. They instantaneously lifted my spirits :).. made me yearn for my childhood :|... and regret my adulthood... :(
:)-- :| -- :( Mixed emotions!!! :P
Just take a look... I assure you.. its gonna be a thoroughly refreshing ... :) :)

Lets start with the holy Cow.. :)
“A cow is a cow. Not a goat. Many animals have milk, but a cow is so good that it can give milks even in packets” and his last line said it all, “I love a cow. It is so useful I know its spelling.”  :D :D :D

Enthralling version of the lion.. :)
“Lines are fat and hairy... Lions run after non-veg items like chicken, egg, mutton, beef. We cannot be friends with lion as we are also non-veg item.” And finally, “Lions are useful to us in cinemas.” :D :D :D

Then comes the dog.. :)

“Do I like my dog or my sister? My sister fights with me. My dog only bites me. I bathe in Dettol, my dog also. My sister’s name is Minu. My dog’s name is Joker. I feel sad because they make fun of my dog. He is not joker, but my sister is mean. I hate my sister. I love my dog. He is useful. Sister is dangerous.” :D :D

Another child wrote about the owl.. :)
“Owl is living in villages or forests, inside a tree hole. They are so wise that crow, sparrow and everyone go to Owl for wisdom. An owl sleeps in the day. But I cannot. I come to school in the day. Also I live in city. So I don’t know anything about owl. So bye-bye.” :D :D :D

Next comes the Snake.. :)

“Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, a snake shouts like this. When we say ssssssssssssssssssssssssss it means keep quiet. Teachers shout like snake. Snakes dance very well. For annual day we did snake dance. A snake is useful in school programmes.” :D :D :D

There was one on Hippos too.. :)
“Hippo has large hips. They live in Discovery TV. I have a hippo soapbox. If hippo and elephant fight, who will win? I am very sorry; I don’t know any use of Hippo.” :D :D :D

And then finally.. one on the royal elephants.. :)
“Elephant is big, black and very strong. From far they look like black clouds. They wear bells to warn us. Their anklets are so big we use them as chains. Elephant is the national animal of the world.” :D :D :D

Such innocent and wonderful ideas, bubbling in young minds... :)

This article reminded me of the quote i once heard...
“There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again.”
and now I want to squeeze in... "animals more dearer" somewhere, in between :) :)

When i heard it... it was just another quote. But now, after reading all these simple, straight from heart, mirthful stories... i know.. what it means... :)

As they say.. If you carry your childhood with you, you never become older. :) :) :)

Be a child... Keep smiling.. :)

WHY is it that.... ???

Why is it that...
  • However long the conversation is...the most exciting part of it is always the "Hiiee" and the most difficult part always the "Byeeee"...?
Why is it that...
  • The best of the conversations need not always be.. with the best of the buddies...?
Why is it that...
  • We may be acquainted with a few people for long, yet... we don't feel emotionally attached...?
  • We may bump into someone... just by chance... but strangely feel very connected...?
Why is it that...
  • At tyms.. talking to a stranger feels more comforting than talking to a friend...?
Why is it that...
  • We may remember an old friend very often .. but don't call him/her up...?
  • We keep in touch with someone, who doesn't even come close to being called a friend...? :P
Why is it that...
  • We may already have someone who loves US with all his might BUT We still keep  tirelessly searching for that special someone...? .. BUT...
  • We don't mind torturing ourselves in the memories of someone, who doesn't care if we exist...?
Why is it that...
  • We always hurt the person We genuinely like and care for...?...BUT...
  • We are specially careful, when talking to people who don't mean anything to us or vice versa...?
Why is it that...
  • Someone who tries to walk away from us seems convincingly a better choice than someone who tries to get closer...?
Why is it that...
  • It is very difficult to trust a good friend who has broken your trust...? BUT...comparatively easier to trust a stranger...?
Why is it that...
  • We never realize how important something/ someone is to us.. until we lose them...?
Why is it that...
  • Saying "YES" to a stranger is easier than saying "NO" to a friend...?
Why is it that...
  • People don't mind fwding all touching sms & e-mails to acquaintances but strangely fumble when they have to express their love or adoration to their loved ones..? :)
Why is it that...
  • We always take people, who always stand by us, for granted... just bcoz we knw that.. wtever we do and however we treat them.. they are still gonna be around...?
Why is it that...
  • We may feel all lost and alone even after having a whole lot of friends around... :)
 Why is it that...
  • We don't realize that "Life" is now here and in this very moment...?
  • We keep ourselves busy brooding over past that was long gone .. or worrying about the future that never was...?

Keep smiling :)

Don't Do It... Unless...

When we like someone.... We find it easier to change ourselves and do things for them, which we are usually not very comfortable doing... And when we become a part of each others verrrrrrrrry routine life, we get tired of being someone we are not... end up criticizing others for all the happenings and start moving away from them..

Whose mistake is it???

Of the doer??? for guising as some one hes not.. and sending out the wrong signals???
Or of the other person??? for making him do things... he never wanted to???

for a silly example, I have a friend who doesnt like getting drenched in the rain... to be more precise... hates it... but got himself drenched a few times bcoz... he wanted me to be happy.... ( very sweet of him :P)
One grumpy day... blame it on my stars :P.... he was in no mood for such childish acts... On asking to do the same thing... he got irritated and as a punishment ( ufff 8-)... strong word :P ) asked me to stand in rain.... :S I stood der..soaked from tip-to-toe... :( until I was sick of it.... :(

Now... who is to be blamed??
Me for starting the stupid game in the first place...??? or
He for encouraging, it all the while...???

"It takes two to tango"... and this case is no exception...

I am not here to take sides, put up an argument or to make a statement
but just to say...
"Don't Do something... Unless... You really want to... "

Being someone you are not, You can please people for a while... but not forever.... :)

Keep Smiling :)
